Post: Scary baby carrier!

I was at a fast food restaurant yesterday, and in walks a
family slinging a baby in a white plastic baby carrier. I
had to double take - the baby carrier had no protective
shell around the baby's head, and looked to be about only
a few pounds at most. It was the barest excuse for a baby
carrier - if the baby carrier fell forward, there would be
no way she wouldn't have taken a fierce blow to her head.
I couldn't believe this carrier could protect a baby as a
car seat. I seriously suspect this couple was carting
junior around in a baby doll carrier.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?
