We just got the Graco travel system called "Alano." It's
pretty stylish, light, and easy to manuever. LOL, my
husband got a kick out of wheeling it all over the Babies-R-
US store, I think the salespeople were less amused than I
was.
The only thing we didn't really like about the Graco system
was the baby carrier had a tendency to up-end if nudged.
The salesperson assured us the carrier is balanced to never
flip when a baby is actually in it. My husband dropped my
purse in the baby carrier, and he was right, we couldn't get
it to flip over.
The baby system was about $160, but we got it from a local
retailer on special, they threw in a second car seat base so
now we can easily travel with the carrier in either car. I
wish the stroller was as easy to swap from car to car.
We checked out the Chicco and they were great carriers. We
almost selected one that was about $190 but it didn't have a
second car carrier, and that would have put the whole baby
travel system package up around $250 or more with tax. The
Chicco travel system was also a bit more heavier, both the
stroller and the carrier.
If we had a bigger budget, the Peg Perego travel system
would have been the choice. It was light and elegant, and
folded up with a minimum of fuss. Maybe next baby!
