Post: sleeping change

My baby is 17 months old and has been sleeping through the
night for maybe 8 months now but something has changed.
He has started waking up in the middle of the night. He
doesn't want food, has had orajel for teething and just
about every other need has been met. He will cry for an
hour then go back to sleep. I don't want to put him in my
bed (I made that mistake with my older boy). What can I
do other than let him cry it out?
